Academy Joins Hands with Longhua to Build Grassroots Governance School

On the afternoon of March 3, the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation framework agreement between the Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy and the Personnel Department of the CPC Longhua District Committee was held at the Longhua Party school. Wang Wei, Party chief of Longhua District, Liu Lei and Han Dang, leaders of the CPC Longhua District Committee, Chen Min, Party chief and Executive Vice President of the Academy, and He Li, Chen Jiaxi, Fang Min and Gong Zheng, leaders of the Academy, attended the ceremony. Wu Zhenxing, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Longhua District Committee and head of the Personnel Department of the CPC Longhua District Committee, and Che Lei, vice secretary of the CPC Committee of the Academy, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
According to the agreement, the Academy will join hands with Longhua to build the Longhua Grassroots Governance Academy of Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy. They will collaborate with each other in various aspects to share teaching resources, set up schools, develop courses, conduct researches, provide training to teachers,share teachers, and transform research results into practical products.
After the signing ceremony, the Longhua Grassroots Governance Academy of Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy and the first batch of training bases were unveiled. As the first academy jointly built by the Academy and the Personnel Department, it will explore a comprehensive training mode for cadres and conduct a project to improve the governance capability of grassroots cadres to build a research highland as well as a social practice and talent training base for grassroots governance.
In the future, the Academy will further explore Shenzhen’s innovative practices in the reform and opening up, grassroots governance led by the Party, innovation in grassroots reform and the development of private enterprises through jointly building featured academies with other organizations and institutions, in order to facilitate the application of new knowledge and new practice in social and economic development into cadre training and play a more significant role in teaching, scientific research and policy consultations. It will also further develop multiple teaching methods including on-site study, interviews, role plays and case studies to build a mutually-beneficial collaborated platform for cadre training in Shenzhen and provide strong support for the reform and opening up in Shenzhen in a new era.
