Municipal Work Committee Signs Cooperation Framework Agreement with Leadership Academy

The Work Committee for Departments Directly Under the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy signed an agreement for further cooperation on March 8.
Gao Zimin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, secretary general of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and
secretary of the Work Committee for Departments Directly Under the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee; Miao Ningli, executive deputy secretary of the committee; and Chen Min, Party chief and executive vice president ofShenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy attended the signing ceremony.
According to Gao, government departments should take the lead and play the exemplary role in the consolidation of Party leadership and the improvement of Party building. This has been attached the top priority among the 10 key works of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee in lights of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
The collaboration of the committee and the academy will greatly promote the development of Party building work among government departments, according to Gao. He hoped the two sides can give full play to their advantages and support each other to achieve a win-win cooperation through jointly launching high-quality training projects, building teaching bases, doing research, compiling teaching materials and improving the ability of cadres.
Gao also emphasized that the cooperation should be planned against the backdrop of the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Party building in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone should also play the pilot demonstrative role and lay the solid political and organizationalfoundation for the future development of the city.
According to Chen Min, the Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy will adhere to the leadership of the CPC, focus on the theme of China’s reform and opening up and stick to the trailblazing innovation spirit to cultivate Party leadership talents and to carry out relevant researches. The academy will join hands with the committee to empower its cadres with Party history and theory education, to help it summarize outstanding innovation practices and to enhance relevant case studies and curriculum development, through which the trainees can better utilize the knowledge they learn from the academy into their work and thus better promote the development of Party building work among government departments.
Zhang Xiaoling, member of the Party Leadership Group of Work Committee for Departments Directly Under the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee; members of the Party Leadership Group of Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy including Che Lei, He Li and Fang Min; and Fang Zheng, deputy secretary of Work Committee for Departments Directly Under the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC also attended the ceremony.
