Taking advantage of its natural deep-water blessing and super-large cargo servicing capacity, Yantian International Container Terminals has become the priority destination harbor for supersized cargo ships in southern China and one of the busiest container ports in the world.

2、Shenzhen Bay Port

Class theme: “Two inspections in one place,” an innovation in Customs service

Basic facts:Shenzhen Bay Port is where Hong Kong Special Administrative Region borders on Shenzhen City. Located in Shekou, Nanshan District, Shenzhen, the checkpoint was the first on the Chinese mainland to offer "two inspections in one place" services to border-crossing travelers.

3、Futian Free Trade Zone

Class theme: The role of the Futian Free Trade Zone in facilitating reform and opening up

Basic facts:Approved to be established by the State Council on May 28, 1991, the Futian Free Trade Zone officially started operation in February 1993. Adjacent to Futian Checkpoint in the east, Hong Kong in the south, the Mangrove Reserve in the west, and Futian’s CBD in the north, the free trade zone covers 1.35 square kilometers. For more than 20 years, the Futian Free Trade Zone has been one of the country’s best-performing and most competitive free trade zones, taking advantage of its proximity to Hong Kong and freedom to experiment with new policies.
