Shenzhen Transportation Training Center: We Should Rely on Party History Learning and Education to Boost High-quality Development

Since the Party history learning and education was launched, Shenzhen Transportation Training Center (hereafter referred to as “the center”), a unit of Shenzhen Reform and Opening-up Executive Leadership Academy, has been promoting Party history learning and education based on the principle of "taking the general orientation, managing the overall situation and ensuring implementation," combining thematic teaching, on-site seminars and other events, creating Party history high quality courses and developing Party history research and learning bases, so as to inject momentum for high-quality development.

Themed events to strengthen learning

The center’s Party branch has always earnestly implemented the requirements of the higher Party committees by strictly implementing the "three meetings and one class" system, convening a monthly branch committee and a quarterly conference for branch Party members. In addition, every quarter the branch’s Party chief takes the lead to give Party lectures and carry out monthly Party day activities. In the first half of the year, the branch held 6 meetings of the branch Party committee, 2 meetings of the branch Party members, 2 Party lectures given by the branch’s Party chief. Meanwhile, the branch also held 6 Party day activities, 1 meeting of the organizational life of the branch and democratic evaluation of Party members, 1 seminar, and a total of 18 branch activities. At each meeting the "first issue" study was fully conducted. In the first half of the year, the Party branch organized the "first issue" study for 16 times.

In order to do well in the education and learning on the topic of Party history, the center organized all Party members to visit the CPC Futian District Committee's "Always Follow the Party" Art Exhibition of 100 Years of Party History, the Nantou Ancient Town Museum, and collectively studied the "Regulations on Supervision within the Communist Party of China" and General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches, as well as other Party day activities. At the same time, the center carries out education on clean government and ideology from time to time.

Expanding Party-building brand through trainings

In thelearning and education of Party history, the center plays a leading role while improving efficiency, enhancing competitiveness and realizing value-added results. The center also constantly enhances the political leadership to resolve problems and make up for weaknesses, in a bid to promote the transformation and upgrading of the center's business.

The center always takes the themed education of "Party's original aspiration and mission" as the eternal theme and lifelong topic for Party building, focuses on project progress, scientific management, safety production and other Party building activities, and promotes the organic combination of Party building and the central work of the center. At the beginning of the year, the center formulated the work plan of "10+10+10" (connecting 10 regional business + connecting 10 industrial associations + 10 high-quality courses) and "bringing in and going global." In the first half of the year amid the pandemic, the center made early arrangements and seized the opportunity to complete the training program of "bringing in" and "going global" on the topic of Party building and history.

Gathering strength and forming development synergy

While carrying out a series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of theCPC, the center actively mobilized Party members to participate in the video contest organized by the Party Committee of the Education Company. The center’s branch recommended four videos and won one first prize, one second prize and two third prizes. The center’s Party branch was awarded the Best Organization Award.

In business, the center'sParty members such as Li Haikun and Ni Yingyu assumed responsibilities for major projects, and carried out business training for other members of the team. Party member Mo Yi took the lead in grassroots services such as cab qualification application, consultation and examination venue services.
