Further Collaboration in GBA Area

Recently, a group of 44 officials from 14 public agencies of Hong Kong gathered in Shenzhen for training program to focus on the evolving mission of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). This marked the fourth successful collaboration co-hosted by the Hong Kong Institute for Public Administration and Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy.
Through intensive lectures, case study analyses, and interactive seminars, participants immersed themselves in core topics central to the theory of Chinese Modernization and the GBA Development Strategy. The program extended beyond the classroom with on-site visits to leading innovation hubs including Tencent, DJI, BYD, and the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone. These visits provided firsthand exposure, tracing the entrepreneurial journey from concept to realization and offering tangible insights into the vast opportunities within the Bay Area. The immersive three-day program not only broadened participants' perspectives on the GBA's potential but actively inspired them to contribute to its dynamic development.
Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy reaffirmed its commitment to serving as a vital platform for Hong Kong and Macao officials to gain in-depth understanding of national conditions and policies. Building upon the significant milestone of this successful fourth phase,Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy look forward to broader participation in future phases.
