Recently, a group of 42 officials from 9 public agencies of Hong Kong gathered in Shenzhen to take a training program to explore Shenzhen. The event was co-hosted for the third time by Hong Kong Institute for Public Administration (HKIPA) and Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy.
Through lectures, talks and field visits, the participants became more familiar with Chinese Path to Modernization and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Strategy. With the help of first-hand access to the industrial practice, including field visits to Tencent, DJI and BYD, participants could feel the charm of science and technology innovation and passion of youth entrepreneurship, which would further encourage them to devote themselves to the raising of the Greater Bay Area with enthusiasm and motivation.
In the future, Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy will continue to play its role as a bridge and bond between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Following the success of this phase as a good milestone, subsequent phases of this programme will continuously forge consensus and generate strength between the two cities to help write a new chapter of the Greater Bay Area’s development.
