Hong Kong Public Agencies Officials Gather to Explore Shenzhen

From June 3 to June 5, a group of 34 officials from 11 public agencies of Hong Kong gathered in Shenzhen to take a training program to explore Shenzhen. The event was hosted for the second time by Hong Kong Institute for Public Administration (HKIPA) and Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy.

Mr Lee Ming-kwai, Director of the Hong Kong Institute for Public Administration (HKIPA), and Mr Dong Haitao, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy, attended the opening ceremony. 

The event is an important initiative guided by Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, profoundly implements the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, and closely responds to the key deployment of the Central Economic Work Conference. Through lectures, seminars and social explorations, the participants gained an in-depth understanding of the development of the Qianhai Cooperation Zone, grasped the boundless opportunities of the low-lying economy industry, and appreciated the outstanding practices of social media giants in innovation and management. 

Through the programme, we have successfully created a platform for cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. At the same time, it will provide a strong impetus for Hong Kong to better integrate into the country's overall development and jointly realize the beautiful vision of mutual benefit and synergistic development.
