Lei Chen

Lei Chen is a member of the academic committee of the “Special Zone Economy” journal, a specially-appointed researcher at Shenzhen University’s Institute of Urban Culture, and a specially-appointed researcher at the Shenzhen Reform and Opening Up Executive Leadership Academy. He is a member of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee’s lecture group.
 
Chen previously worked as a researcher at the Shenzhen Manager College, the Shenzhen Civil Service College, and the expert workshop of Party School of the Shenzhen State-own Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. He accumulated rich experience through extensive research and studies on industry transformation and comprehensive governance while he taught in Europe and the United States. His teaching and research focuses after returning China have been on the areas of industry transformation and moral education. He has given hundreds of lectures on economic transformation to staffers at governments, State-owned enterprises, industry associations and non-public organizations, and shared Shenzhen’s transformation experience with Belt and Road countries.
